This hotel is owned by Tariel Suari, a well-known classical guitarist who studied and toured Europe for many years. He is still quite active, and when he is not performing, he is running his hotel and practices every morning for two hours whilst we are having breakfast and then in the evenings in the lobby bar. The best musician we have heard in a very long time. A great welcome, and what an honour. 🥰 The hotel is in the old town, up a hill. 🫣 Great decor, amazing food at breakfast, great staff, and service. Restaurants, cafes, sulphur baths, and other tourist attractions on both sides of the river are just walking distance. The view of the light house from our terrace was delightful. The resident cats, Kisa, and the black kittie are just adorable. 🐈 Parking is available up the hill from the motel. We extended our stay for an extra night, and this was accommodated with ease. Kisi Hotel is ever so slightly tucked away from the center of bustling Old Town, however we preferred that as it was a bit quieter but still very easily walkable to all areas. We landed in Tbilisi at 5am and were worried we would have to kill time all morning waiting for the room, however after requesting early check-in we were pleasantly surprised (and super grateful) that our room was ready straight away. The room was beautiful, clean, and spacious, with one of the best views of the city. Food at breakfast was delightful and the staff were incredibly lovely. The best part was the two gorgeous cats in reception that made going in and out every day a treat!

We got a complimentary room upgrade because we were celebrating our 35 years wedding anniversary and it was a very generous gesture from Victoria the hotel mander - the room & the view from the terrace were truly spectacular! Breakfast was abundant & delicious but what made it super special was the host playing classic guitar symphonies throughout - wow the whole experience was incredible! Not to mention the location was superb, close to all major city attractions! We highly recommend this hotel!
